Tech Stocks Lead Asian Equities Traded in the US as American Depositary Receipts Lower in Tuesday Trading — TradingView News

Tech stocks were leading Asian equities traded in the US as American depositary receipts lower Tuesday morning, declining 0.8% to 1,881.32 on the S&P Asia 50 ADR Index.

From North Asia, the gainers were led by streaming music service Tencent Music Entertainment Group TME and brand platform 36Kr KRKR, which rose 5.1% and 4.1% respectively. They were followed by online luxury retailer Secoo SECO and real estate services provider Leju LEJU, which were up 2.3% each.

The decliners from North Asia were led by game live-streaming service HUYA HUYA and video-based social media platform JOYY Inc. YY, which fell 11% and 10% respectively. They were followed by utilities company Korea Electric Power 015760 and computer hardware maker Canaan CAN, which lost 7.6% and 6.9% respectively.

From South Asia, the gainers were led by telecommunications operator PLDT DTEL and business process management service WNS WNS, which rose 0.7% and 0.4% respectively.

The decliners from South Asia were led by tech conglomerate Sea SE and biotech firm Aslan Pharmaceuticals ASLN, which lost 6% and 5.6% respectively. They were followed by pharmaceutical company Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories DRREDDY and IT firm Wipro WIPRO, which were down 3.8% and 2.6% respectively.
